**Position Available: Product Art Director**

**Location: Vancouver, British Columbia**

**Role Overview**:
As a **Product Art Director**, you will be responsible for shaping the visual direction and aesthetic of our product lines. You will lead a team of designers and collaborate with cross-functional departments, including product development, marketing, and engineering, to ensure the visual integrity and brand consistency of all products. Your role is pivotal in blending creativity with strategic thinking to create designs that resonate with our target audience and align with our brand vision.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Lead the development of the visual design and aesthetic direction for product lines, ensuring consistency with the brand's identity.
- Collaborate with product designers, leadership, customers feedback and engineers to align on design concepts, ensuring that the visual direction enhances user experience and functionality.
- Oversee the creation of product visuals, from concept to final execution, including sketches, renders, digital prototypes and final product.
- Drive innovation in product design by staying up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and emerging technologies.
- Present design concepts and ideas to stakeholders, including executives, product teams, and marketing.
- Guide, manage and mentor a team of designers, providing constructive feedback and ensuring their professional growth and development.
- Ensure that product visuals are consistent across all marketing and sales channels, including e-commerce, packaging, and promotional materials.
- Manage teams pipelines, timelines and resources effectively to meet deadlines and ensure timely product launches.
- Work closely with external vendors, agencies, and partners to ensure high-quality production and execution of product designs.

**What You’ll Need**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Art Direction, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in art direction or product design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience working with consumer products, particularly in Furniture industry.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create visually compelling and innovative product designs that align with the brand taste and aesthetic.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and strategies to both creative and non-creative teams.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and 3D modeling software.
- Strong understanding of product development processes, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently
