We are looking for a physically fit, responsible individuals to move warehouse items, including boxes, skids, and furniture by loading items into and out of trailers/trucks.

The position is responsible for ensuring that items are undamaged and placed in the correct position (proper orientation) in the new location, following the directions on each item as indicated by the labels/pictograms.

To be successful as a mover you must have stamina throughout the entire shift to perform manual duties that often require strength. You should also be able to plan the most efficient ways to pack items into the transportation truck/trailer. This includes using load bars (and other means) to reinforce the integrity of the packed load to ensure no damage will occur while goods are being transported in the vehicle.

**Warehouse **Mover Responsibilities**:

- Locate and move items to the staging area before loading into trailers/trucks.
- Wrap furniture/mattresses in protective material, if it not already pre-packaged.
- Load, pack and unload items with care.
- Ensure that no items are damaged while moving.
- Ensure proper scanning of items is completed and that all movement of items is tracked in the inventory system.
- Take inventory of items and ensure that no items are lost during transportation, and everything is accounted for, as per the load manifest, clearly noting any discrepancies and informing the supervisor.
- Daily submission and completion of all required documentation accurately and on time.
- Other duties as assigned

**Warehouse **Mover Requirements**:

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Physically fit.
- Punctual and professional.
- Clear English language skills - Read/Write/Speak
- Fork Lift experience and certification

Computer skills - being able to interact with different systems and the use of scanners to read barcodes and/or manually enter numbers correctly.
- Use of tools including but not limited to forklift (must have valid current certification), carts, hand trucks and dollies.
- A high school qualification or equivalent would be preferable.
- A driver's license would be advantageous.
