WSP is seeking an **Intermediate Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Field Consultant **, to join our **Ontario EHS Compliance Team and Technical Community **in the **Greater Toronto Area **(flexible home office location and hybrid work environment).

As an **Intermediate EHS Field Consultant **, you will support multi-disciplinary projects for clients across a variety of sectors. **Your role will include**:
- Working with your WSP EHS team colleagues to provide consulting services in the following areas of expertise:
- Hazardous Materials Management and Remediation
- Microbial Contamination Assessment and Remediation
- Indoor Environmental Quality
- Occupational Health & Industrial Hygiene
- Radon Measurement and/or Mitigation
- EHS Compliance Auditing and Management Systems
- Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices
- Written and oral communication within multi-disciplinary teams and with clients.
- Coordinating projects and proposals to completion, including project finances, schedule, and deliverables.
- Developing and maintaining productive relationships with clients, contractors, and internal and external multi-disciplinary teams.
- Supporting business development, including developing marketing plans, tools, and initiatives with senior staff members and the broader EHS team.
- Working under the direction of senior staff to complete business plan objectives at the local, regional, and global scale.
- Ability to work weekends and evenings as required to meet project commitments and travel for extended periods of time (1 to 2 weeks at a time). Other duties as assigned.
**You will have a background in**:
- Occupational health and safety, or environmental sciences or engineering (or related fields) as demonstrated by a post-secondary degree, diploma and/or demonstrated expertise in EHS consulting (minimum 3 years of experience).
- Occupational health and safety and environmental legislation.
- Occupational hygiene practices (working knowledge).
- Organizing and providing support during meetings involving participation from stakeholders and demonstrated experience summarizing and presenting results with an emphasis on written communication. Computer skills for data management and manipulation including strong familiarity with Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel, and a working knowledge of CADD.
