Field Management Superintendent

AECOM’s Burnaby office is searching for a Field Management Superintendent for a full-time position with the primary work location at client sites.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

- Provide on-site administrative and technical management for construction project(s).
- Responsible for the organization and direction of construction related activities within assigned areas of responsibility for multi-discipline construction project(s).
- May be the primary client contact for jobsite day to day activities, or may coordinate with client’s resident representatives on jobsite activities within assigned areas of operation.
- Responsibilities are to ensure assigned jobsite operations are in compliance with design/specifications, construction schedule, and quality standards.
- Interface with all other administrative field staff, field management staff and particularly the Construction Manager and Resident Engineer in a coordinated effort.

**Qualifications** Minimum requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree + 8 years of relevant experience or Diploma/Certificate +10 years of relevant experience with structural engineering for municipal/industrial infrastructure projects.
- Project wide experience in Canada and/or North America.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Experience with large-scale multi-discipline infrastructure projects.
- Experience with reinforced concrete cast-in-place structures.
- Knowledge related to water retaining structural design and construction.
- Proven skills with construction coordination, inspection and interfacing with prime contractor and owner.
- Coordination with engineering design disciplines related to construction activities and scope of work.
- Experience with interpreting detailed design drawings and technical specifications to ensure quality standards are met.
- Knowledge of relevant structural codes and standards.
