**Position Overview**

We are seeking **Carpenter Apprentices (1st to 4th Year)** who are eager to gain hands-on experience and advance their skills in the carpentry trade. This position offers on-site training, mentorship from experienced Red Seal Carpenters, and the opportunity to work on a variety of projects throughout the Ottawa region.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist with the construction, installation, and repair of wood, steel, and other materials in commercial and residential settings.
- Work under the guidance of Journeyperson Carpenters to develop essential carpentry skills.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials using hand and power tools.
- Erect scaffolding, ladders, and temporary structures as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety regulations.
- Participate in job site preparation, including material handling and setup.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Currently enrolled in a **registered Carpentry Apprenticeship Program** (1st to 4th Year).
- Strong willingness to learn and develop trade skills.
- Basic knowledge of carpentry tools, equipment, and materials.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Physical ability to lift materials, work at heights, and perform manual labor.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- **Commitment to workplace safety** and understanding of construction site protocols.
