We are currently looking for a Horticulturist to assist us in maintaining our gorgeous Pearle Hospitality properties in the Hamilton/Burlington area.

- this role ranges between $25 - $32 hourly depending on relevant experience

**What we are looking for**:

- A minimum of 5 years' experience in the horticultural field, landscape maintenance & turf management
- A strong team player with exceptional leadership skills
- Ability to cultivate a positive work environment and instill an ethic of teamwork and professionalism among the team
- Close attention to detail.
- Extensive knowledge of annuals, perennials and nursery stock
- Purchasing of plant material.
- A keen eye for Landscape design
- Design and installation of seasonal planters
- Knowledge in tree and plant care and installation
- Valid “G” with clean driver's abstracts
- Experience with push and ride on mowers
- Experience using trimmer, power edger, blower, hedge trimmer
- Experience towing a trailer
- Experience operating mini excavator, loader, and skid steer
- First aid training considered asset

**Salary**: $25.00-$32.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Horticulture: 2 years (preferred)
