Landscape Labourer

Responsibilities:

- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
- Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Operate hand tools and power tools to complete landscaping projects
- Dig trenches and install landscape features such as pathways or retaining walls
- Assist in building and maintaining gardens and outdoor living spaces

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in landscaping or related field preferred
- Knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in landscaping
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues

**Skills**:

- Proficient in using hand tools for digging, planting, and maintaining landscapes
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively
- Knowledge of operating small engines and troubleshooting techniques.
- Basic understanding of building structures such as pathways or retaining walls

As a Landscape Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting in various landscaping tasks to create and maintain beautiful outdoor spaces. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a passion for working outdoors.

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (preferred)
