**Job Summary**
Capital Drilling Inc. is looking for a Driller to operate our drill for geotechnical / environmental investigation projects.

Prequalification includes Class 3 with Air Brakes, H2S, First Aid, Ground Disturbance Level II, CSTS and the ability to work in the field all over in Alberta.

**Responsibilities**- Operate and maintain auger drilling equipment and machinery.
- Conduct geotechnical drilling operations to collect soil and rock samples.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on drilling equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Accurately log and record drilling data and sample information.
- Collaborate with geotechnical engineers and project managers to achieve project objectives.
- Transport drilling equipment to and from job sites.
- Manage and dispose of drilling waste materials according to environmental regulations.
- Other duties as required
- **Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in geotechnical auger drilling.
- Valid class 3 license with a clean driving record driver’s will be an asset.
- Knowledge of geotechnical sampling methods and procedures.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- Geotechnical /Environmental Drilling: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 3 Licence (preferred)
