**Sortation Supervisor (Night Shift)**

**Title**: Sortation Supervisor

Reports To: Sortation Manager

Territory: GTA (North York, ON)

Status: Full-time

Department: Operations

**JOB OVERVIEW**:The Sortation Supervisor will oversee the inbound transportation and parcel sortation functions of the delivery terminal. The supervisor will lead a team of hourly associates in achieving daily productivity objectives while ensuring a safe and inclusive work environment for everyone. In this fast-paced environment, the supervisor is an integral part of the logistics operation.

**GENERAL DUTIES**:

- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the night sortation shift
- Lead a team of front-line associates; organize workflow by assigning responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound transport scheduling
- Plan and coordinate staffing requirements and team schedules
- Ensure the safe use of equipment; enforce safety guidelines and company standards
- Submit daily end-of-shift reporting
- Support and collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide training and oversee the orientation of new sortation workers

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE**
- University degree or college diploma; or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a logistics environment
- Experience leading diverse teams that support high volume and a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to positively influence and motivate workers
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Experience with computers and technology

**WORKPLACE AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must have a vehicle; local travel may be required from time to time
- Training (up to 4 weeks) is in Mississauga, ON
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
