**The Speech Clinic** is a close-knit team of over 30 Speech-Language Pathologists and assistants who are passionate about effective communication therapy and know the joy of making positive changes in patients lives. We are an established and innovative practice where the therapists have easy access to managers and mentors who are fellow SLPs. Flexible scheduling for both in-person and remote sessions.

**The Speech Clinic **offers services throughout Simcoe County which includes, Barrie, Collingwood, Bradford, Alliston, Orillia, Midland and Muskoka region.

We are currently seeking an SLP to work in the **Home and Community Care **program treating **adult clients** with swallowing and communication needs in the long term care facility, senior residences and home settings.

We also have an opening for a Speech-Language Pathologist on our **Augmentative Communication Team**. Therapists would be part of an interdisciplinary team to enhance the communication skills and quality of life of children and youth. The SLP will work in programs within the Children's Treatment Network of Simcoe County in our Augmentative Communication Consultation Service and Urgent Response Services. We provide extensive training in all areas of Augmentative Communication.

**New graduates can work as a CDA prior to passing the college exam.**

Mixed caseloads (adult and children) are also available. Full and part-time work available.

**Responsibilities Include**:
**ACCS team position**:
ACC assessments, prescribe appropriate communication systems and develop goal-focused consultations.

Supervise CDAs

Conduct group and parent/professional training workshops

**Adult Home and Community Care position**:
Assessing and treating dysphagia and communication clients in various settings.

**Qualifications**:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
CASLPO registration in good standing (CDA work available while waiting for certification)

Experience with AAC software and systems

Excellent computer skills

Fluency in French is an asset

Valid driver's license an access to a vehicle
