The people behind Published on Main & Bar Susu have teamed up with House of Funk roasters for a new cafe project on Main St. and we're looking to build our opening team

We're looking for baristas who are passionate about coffee and hospitality. We'll be offering an elevated food program led by award winning chefs, Gus Steiffenhofer-Brandson and Ashley Kurtz paired with coffee from one of Vancouver's best new roasters, House of Funk. We're hoping to create something special on Main St. and are looking for the right people to help us accomplish that

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- An Interest in coffee & learning more about the speciality coffee industry
- 1+ years of barista experience
- Experience dialling in an espresso machine and pouring latte art
- Able to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

**As a barista on our team, you will be responsible for**:

- Providing superior customer service and showcasing your hospitality skills to create a

welcome environment for every guest.
- Maintaining a high standard of quality service and making suggestions for continued

improvement.
- Able to educate the customer about our coffee, beverages and food
- Ensuring that Novella remains and promotes being an inclusive space for all
- Serving coffee, alcohol, food and everything that goes along with that such as

room maintenance
- Running the espresso bar, including making all applicable drinks and cleaning the

machine
- Following all safety protocols
- Being knowledgeable about our menu items and the processes behind them
