We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our team in the full-time role of Lettershop / Mailing Operator. This production-based role requires a team player with a strong work ethic, drive and ability to balance our extremely high-quality demands with the rigorous pace that this industry demands.
The successful applicant must be highly experienced in lettershop / direct mail operations. They must be highly knowledgeable in the setup, operation and maintenance of lettershop / direct mail equipment including envelope insertion and ink jetting.
**Responsibilities**:
- Understanding and verifying job specifications and requirements
- Setup and operation of
- Swing Arm Envelope Inserter
- DS700 Envelope Inserter
- Kirk Rudy Ink Jetting System
- Kirk Rudy Match Mate Camera System
- Kirk Rudy Tabbing System
- Ensure name and address information is formatted in accordance with CPC and USPS requirements
- Ensure mail is containerized in trays and gaylords or skids per CPC and USPS requirements
- Responsible for overall quality and integrity of the end-product
- Maintenance of all mailing equipment and ordering of parts to ensure they are kept in good running condition
- Manage inventory of CPC and USPS equipment levels
- Work with the scheduling to ensure client demands are met
- Organize and direct helpers
- Work with planning and prepress to ensure items are printed and finished in a manner compatible with mailing equipment
- Completing quality checks to ensure stringent quality standards are met
- Keeping work area and equipment clean
- Understanding and following company safety policies and procedures
**Desired Skills & Experience/Requirements**:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong computer skills and experienced working with data in excel and mailing equipment software
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented, data-driven and possess strong analytical skills
- Minimum 5 years experience as lettershop / direct mail machine operator
**Reports to**: Plant Manager
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
