**Description**:
The Continuing Education Department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of a PART-TIME PROFESSOR FOR THE WINTER 2025 semester to teach the course FIELDWORK 2: INTEGRATION (322-70F-RL).

By the end of the course, students are able to demonstrate their ability to define the pedagogical model to be adopted and are able to design, organize and lead all life activities by implementing the educational process. In addition, they are able to demonstrate their ability to analyze the needs of a child or a group of children and to intervene to promote the children’s overall development in collaboration with the partners involved in the educational childcare service. They also demonstrate professional attitudes in the workplace.

Students will complete 228 hours (28.5 days of 8 hours) of internship in a pertinent workplace on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (April 23 to July 10, 2025) The hired instructor will be responsible for the supervision of 17 students. He/She/They are also responsible for 12 hours in-class, as scheduled (4 classes of 3 hours), to help students prepare, as well as to support them during the internship.. He/She/They is also responsible for the final student presentations at the end of the internship.

**Required Qualifications**:
Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related discipline and 2 years of teaching experience, or a DEC in Early Childhood Education or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of work experience in a daycare setting. Teaching experience in Early Childhood Education or a related program such as Child Studies, Child Development, Special Education, or Social Work, and the preparation of students integrating the workplace are assets.
This course is taught in English; proficiency in English is required.
Teaching experience with an adult clientele is strongly recommended.

The class hours are given online (synchronous). Supervision is done in-person. Support (individual appointments with the onsite supervisor and/or students) may be done online or in-person in the stage placement.

This course is taught in English. The selected incumbent will be required to work in English.
