**Position Summary**

The Programs and Member Services Manager is a key leadership role responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of SPFGA’s programs, events, and member services. This is a hybrid position, with responsibilities carried out both remotely and on-site at the Sherwood Park Fish and Game Association’s Ketchamoot Creek Recreation Property. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Manager ensures organizational goals are achieved through effective program oversight, responsive member service, facility coordination, and administrative support. The role also contributes to internal and external communications, grant writing, and fundraising initiatives. Success in this position requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with a high degree of collaboration, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Programs**
- Provide leadership, direction, and oversight for all SPFGA programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and member needs.
- Develop promotional and educational materials to support program awareness and engagement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for program stakeholders, partners, and collaborators.
- Design and distribute satisfaction surveys and polls to support program evaluation, incorporating participant feedback into planning and improvement efforts.
- Track and monitor program participation, maintaining accurate records and data.
- Prepare and submit timely reports on program activities, outcomes, and performance metrics.
- Ensure all programs reflect innovation, inclusivity, and responsiveness to participant and community feedback.
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of programs, events, and bookings, including scheduling, logistics, venue arrangements, and communication with presenters and participants.
- Oversee facility usage by managing internal bookings and external rental requests in collaboration with event organizers. Facilitate the development and execution of memorandums of understanding for programs and group/event bookings, and ensure confirmed bookings are accurately posted on the SPFGA website.

**Member Services**
- Manage and oversee the SPFGA membership database, including member records, data integrity, and online order verification.
- Maintain statistical membership data for internal and external reporting.
- Oversee member renewals and new member processes, including issuing and distributing gate access cards.

**Administrative and Organizational Support**
- Act as Executive Director during periods of leave.
- Provide support in the recruitment, hiring, orientation, training, professional development, performance reviews and day-to-day supervision of programs, member services, and communications staff and contractors.
- Assist in drafting and review of SPFGA policies and standard operating procedures.
- Provide support to some of the SPFGA standing committees as required.
- Perform additional duties as requested by the Executive Director to support the organization’s strategic and operational priorities.

**Fundraising, and Reporting**
- Assist with fundraising activities including casinos, raffles, and sponsorship initiatives.

**Communications and Marketing**
- Assist with the production of communications such as electronic newsletters and other member updates (e.g., _Range of Thoughts_, _Bullet Points_, _Safe and Sound_).
- Support website content updates and social media messaging.
- Prepare and deliver presentations about SPFGA’s mission and activities when required.

**Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills**
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management, program development and marketing strategies.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in public speaking and comfortable presenting to diverse audiences.
- Adept at coordinating multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Skilled in survey design, data collection, and analysis to support program evaluation.
