Garment Receiver

**Fundy Textile and Design Ltd. is now hiring a Garment Receiver** to work in our garment warehouse to receive incoming product and distribute to customer orders to be produced in our manufacturing department. Hours are Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm

We are a locally owned and operated creative production facility, with over 35 years serving clients across Canada and the United States.
- Select and pack garments according to order specifications for production.
- Perform quality control checks on garments both before and after production.
- Unload boxes and pallets when new products are delivered.
- Work with the production staff on finishing duties (inspecting, folding, boxing garments after production).
- Follow safe work procedures.
- Assist in moving boxes of product from our offsite warehouse to our production facility.

**Qualifications**
- Ability to distinguish between colors.
- Required to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday shift.
- Valid driver’s license is an asset but not necessary
- Be able to count and accurately record incoming product
- Basic computer knowledge would be a benefit

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Truro, NS B2N 6V3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
