**Introduction**

Our Packaging Process Quality Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that processes and procedures are being followed ensuring Quality of our product is upheld the highest of standards within the Packaging department. This role will work on intime investigations, supplying root cause analysis, CAPA’s, deviation reports and coming up with actions items to be implemented. They will work closely with other departments with the launching of new products and SKU’s, including working with shift supervisors and leads to provide training and consistency. This role ensures the required training and SOP updates are completed for both existing and new products SKU’s to ensure consistent product quality to specification. They will be reporting directly to the Packaging Manager. The production facility is located in Aylmer, Ontario.

**Position Overview**:

- Conduct investigations for deviations and CAPAs; complete root cause analysis, determine required mitigations, and hold responsible parties accountable for completing mitigations by an acceptable deadline.
- Assist with training of Supervisors, Senior Leads and Line Lead on new products and reviewing of processes and procedures in the department.
- Seek opportunities to implement and explore Continuous Improvement within the department
- Draft SOPs relating to Packaging department to ensure continuous compliance and update Packaging Work Orders to ensure capture of pertinent data.
- Creating action items and implementing them to the department
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Other job duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in science or a related discipline
- Experience with Quality Systems: Change Control, Deviation, CAPA, Document Control
- Lead with passion and a desire to achieve process improvements
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work under pressure while focusing on quality and production deadlines
- Demonstrated experience training new employees, delivering performance reviews and performance improvement plans
- Proven experience with adhering to SOP’s or equivalent
- Flexibility to work variable hours and shifts including weekends
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Able to delegate duties and train packaging staff at all levels to perform necessary documentation writing, and meet production targets
- Knowledge of the Cannabis Act, GPP, and GMP
- Other duties as assigned

**SCHEDULE**
- Current Schedule is Admin Shift: Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm.

**Must be flexible as it could change to**:

- “Half Continental” rotating shift schedule (DAY shift): 4 days one week, 3 days the following week
- Sunday through to Saturday (7-day operation). Hours are 7:30am - 8:00pm (12.5 hours)
- Breaks are: three 30 min breaks to be broken up based on team needs and discussed with Supervisor/Manager
