You must be able to provide a stable, nurturing environment where you will model appropriate behavior and assist in the development of life skills, including cooking, cleaning, education, recreation and medication administration. Patience, with a great sense of humor and passion for enabling individuals to move forward in their independence is a must. The role allows a lot of flexibility and fun as you will be responsible for planning and accompanying residents as they engage in their communities.

Required: At least two years post education or experience in a similar field. Community Care 1st Aid, Food Safe, Class 5 Driver's License, Driver's Abstract, Current TB Test and immunization records, Suicide Assist.

Following hire, You will be required to pass an RCMP/MCFD and Solicitor General Criminal Record Check. These costs will be covered by the company.

Skills and Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication, Conflict Resolution, Team Player who can work independently and with mínimal supervision. Working knowledge of behavior intervention strategies. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Establish rapport with high-risk youth in facility. Provide support and direction to youth. Participate in youth driven activities; having FUN Cooking, bowling, gaming, movies, hikes and swimming. Case management and reporting. Other duties, as required

On call casual is also an option

24 hour live-in shift required in a rural setting
