At EMC Therapy, we’re a small, passionate team that provides in person rehab therapy services and home healthcare visits. Our team is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in our community through providing personalized health services. We are currently expanding our home health services, and we are seeking a Home Health Care Aide to join our Home Health Team. If you’re driven by a desire to provide personalized care and support to patients in their own homes, we’d love to hear from you

**What You’ll Do**:

- Visit patients in their homes, offering vital care and support each shift
- Safely administer medications, including oral forms, creams, and patches
- Conduct tailored assessments such as blood glucose and blood pressure checks
- Respond to urgent situations with empathy and professionalism, following established protocols
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including physicians, to support the frail elderly in the community
- Communicate significant changes in patients’ conditions to their healthcare team
- Document observations and care provided, ensuring accurate records of each patient’s journey
- Engage with patients to enhance their care and wellbeing, contributing to improved outcomes
- No personal care or assistance with daily activities is required

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Health Care Assistant (HCA) or equivalent training
- A valid Class 5 or 7 Driver’s Licence
- A reliable vehicle
- A willingness to complete a reference check
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations

**Work Schedule**:

- 0700-1100 or 0800-1200, Monday to Friday
- Minimum of two shifts required; commitment to a minimum of 20 hours/week may be eligible for extended health benefits

**Compensation**:

- Hourly wage: $22 - $28
- $0.66/km reimbursement for work-related travel
