This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking for a daytime role in the hospitality industry and enjoys cleaning. We offer part-time opportunities on weekdays and weekends. This is a great role for those who are looking to balance other work and/or school commitments in a fast-paced, exciting environment.

**THE CLEANERS AT CARMEN’S BANQUET CENTRE HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO**:

- Carry out all cleaning tasks as assigned in guest and employee spaces (offices, washrooms, banquet halls/foyer)
- Identify efficient methods to be used in carrying out routine cleaning tasks for desired results
- Regularly use various cleaning products
- Provide a clean, welcoming environment for guests, vendors, and employees
- Collect debris/waste, empty trash containers, and dispose properly
- General cleaning duties include, but are not limited to: sweeping/mopping floors, window/mirror cleaning, dusting, dishware and cutlery cleaning, furniture cleaning
- Service, clean and disinfect washrooms, replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels) as required
- Removal and collection of linens as needed
- Make a difference in the lives of each and every one of our guests by directly contributing to their extraordinary experiences
- Exercise good judgment and demonstrate leadership abilities
- Other duties as assigned

**CLEANER POSITION REQUIREMENTS**:

- Friendly, professional, and customer focused
- Positive, outgoing, and friendly team player
- Ability to tolerate cleaning products
- Reliable with strong attention to detail
- Ability to stay motivated when completing tasks
- Ability to work independently and part of a team with mínimal supervision
- Previous cleaning experience an asset
- Flexible schedule to accommodate daytime and evening shifts
