**Who we are**
EPIC Market is Edmonton’s newest gathering place located in Station Park, a brand new shipping container park development on Whyte Ave. Opening July 2024, our food hall spans 2 floors, features 5 distinct culinary concepts - Italian, French Canadian, Mexican, Asian-Fusion, and a Chop House - 2 bars and a Chef’s Table. We aim to be the place people gather to eat and drink the way they want to. To fulfil our goal we are building an all-star team of hospitality professionals to serve our guests, host numerous events, and create a community.
Our team built the first food hall in Alberta and we’re so excited to launch our flagship location in the heart of Whyte Ave. Jennifer and Luke started EPIC Market to bring a true food hall experience to Edmonton. We believe that bringing something new to Edmonton’s culinary scene will build up the community and its businesses as a whole. **Who we are looking for**

We believe EPIC Market is the perfect fit if you’re looking to grow your career in hospitality We are looking for part-time and full-time first cooks to join our team for our grand opening in July.
As a kitchen team member, you will be primarily responsible for assisting with from-scratch prep in one or more of our kitchen concepts (Italian, French Canadian, Mexican, Asian-Fusion, Chop House) and executing dishes on a fast-paced open kitchen line.
If you’re an energetic individual versed in food safety and cooking techniques who can maintain a positive and friendly team-oriented demeanour in a fast-paced environment, a quick learner who adapts well and can solve problems, and a hard worker who is open to going above and beyond for customers, we want to hire you
**What you’ll get to do**:
- Welcome customers, inform them about specials and new items, answer questions, and accept orders and payments.
- Prep duties as required
- Ensure the highest level of hygiene and food safety is adhered to
- Be an essential part of the kitchen team
- Work well under pressure, operating in an organized manner
- Preparing a wide variety of menus including catering and special events.
- Inventory duties such as stocking, shelving, organizing and counting products.
- Cleaning duties such as cleaning up the bar, clearing tables, sweeping floors, sanitizing tables, and overall jumping onto the floor when needed and maintaining the general EPIC cleanliness of the food hall.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
