Pacific Honda is currently looking for a 2nd and 3rd year Apprentice Automotive Service Technician.

***Position Overview**

As an Apprentice you have the opportunity to learn to perform vehicle maintenance services, diagnosis and repairs as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards of both Honda and non-Honda vehicles. Some other duties include, installing accessories, alignments, overhaul of components and inspections. You will also help build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in maintaining a safe and reliable vehicle. This full-time opportunity with payment determined on your experience and apprenticeship level.

***Who will you interact with?**

This position interacts daily with Customers, Service Advisors, Other technicians, Parts Associates, Cashiers, Sales Associates and Managers just to name a few.

***What are the day-to-day responsibilities**
- Performing vehicle repairs and/or maintenance work as outlined on repairs orders with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
- Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication
- Conducting multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure safety and reliability of Customers vehicles.
- Maintaining an inventory of normal technician tools not normally inventoried by service department as special tools.
- Keeping up to date with factory technical bulletins and participating in factory online and classroom factory training classes.
- Providing an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.

***What are the job requirements?**

*High School diploma or equivalent *Previous shop experience an asset. *Post secondary education such as a trades certificate or diploma an asset. *Honda/Acura experience an asset (but not required). *Attention to detail *Organization and follow up skills *Valid class 5 drivers license with an acceptable driving record (please provide drivers abstract) *Must be able to drive standard transmission vehicles
