The South Fish Creek Recreations Assosiation (SFCRA/Cardel Rec Centre) is seeking dynamic team player(s) to fulfill the roll of part-time Facility Attendant.

The South Fish Creek Recreation Association (SFCRA) is a not-for-profit organization that operates Cardel Rec South; a very busy community recreation facility. We offer our community four ice arenas, gymnasiums, eight multi-purpose rental/program rooms, a restaurant and a variety of recreation programs. In addition, we have numerous tenants whose services complement our mandate.

- partner recreation, education and library complex located under one roof in the Shawnessy Towne Centre.

**Specific accountabilities will include**:

- Conduct facility checks ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the recreation facility.
- Assist with set up and take down programs, meetings and special events (indoors and outdoors).
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining the recreation facilities.
- Assist with outdoor recreation facility maintenance and operations.
- Carry out regular janitorial duties to ensure the facility (dressing rooms, washrooms, meeting rooms, common spaces, etc.) is clean and safe for guests
- Model a high level of service with internal and external guests

This is a physically demanding role that involves lifting (up to 55 lbs.), carrying, pulling, pushing, bending, kneeling, crouching, standing, walking, climbing, and repetitive motions.

**Qualifications required**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Safety conscious
- Clean Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector
- Standard First Aid considered an asset
- Ability to communicate with public and co-workers.
- Knowledge of various janitorial techniques.
