Position Overview:
Join the Finning family Finning Canada is seeking a Journeyperson Counter Sales in Edmonton. As the Journeyperson Counter Sales Person, you will be responsible for parts sales, from quote to delivery, for both internal and external customers. You will identify parts and equipment, soure parts, providing customer service and advice, and handling a variety of parts sales duties including telephone, parts sales orders as well as all facets of the parts ordering system.

**Job Description**:

- Handling incoming telephone calls
- Update date customer/branches with backlog reports on orders
- Outage parts list management, on orders that are processed and follow-up
- Perform major work order functions such as sub-cons, receiving expenses and component orders.
- Logistics - support on large components with traffic support, ensuring shipping weights and dimensions, correct shipping and the receiving end of cranes, forklift, background and detailed information for traffic flow.
- Completing tasks that are assigned by supervisor/management
- Sourcing Cat and Non Cat parts and managing back orders
- Assist with parts required for planned equipment outages and upgrades
- Understanding of Finning policy and procedures and major mining products and service

Other functions may include but are not limited to:

- NEP sourcing of CAT and non-CAT parts
- Procurement of non-CAT parts
- Managing backordered parts

**Some after-hours on-call support is required**

**Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement**

Qualifications:

- Journeyperson parts certification coupled with previous parts, warehouse, front counter, sales experience and Caterpillar product knowledge
- A high performance, positive attitude and the ability to build and maintain respectful working relationships
- Clearly demonstrate enthusiasm about their work and must be able to function effectively and purposefully in a dynamic environment
- Ability to deal with difficult situations and potentially unhappy customers
- Capable of working with mínimal supervision
- Computer literacy with applicable software knowledge along with shop parts experience
- Experience with SIS, AIMS, Antares, SIMSi, InfoCast, Lawson M3, Landmark Smart Office, M3 Sales Automation and the MS Office Package will be considered assets
