SeeMoreGreen is looking for Landscape Technicians for maintenance projects that keep landscapes attractive, clean, and well maintained. We are located about a 5-minute drive south of Saskatoon, so reliable transportation is a requirement of the position.

**About the role**:
Landscape Technicians use knowledge of aesthetics to creatively assess and maintain landscape environments, which may include trees, shrubberies, lawns, fences, and other landscape structures, and assist in performing and coordinating the completion of maintenance projects that keep landscapes attractive, clean, and well maintained.

**What you will do**:

- Plant trees, shrubs, pruning, raking, shoveling, spreading material, mowing, trimming, planting, weeding, mulching, sweeping, etc.
- Cart and spread topsoil and other required materials.
- Lay sod or seed, grading (soil), and tree staking.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other necessary equipment to complete job tasks.
- Perform lawn maintenance using lawn mowers, tractor mowers, trimmers, and weed eaters.
- Move and transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies, and manual lifting.

**What you will bring**:

- Ability to work with power/hand tools and equipment
- Physically fit with good stamina.
- Ability to perform moderate to heavy labor-intensive tasks for extended periods of time in various outdoor environments.
- Ability to follow safe working procedures.
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team.
- Speak, read, and write English.
- Flexibility in working hours including occasional weekend work due to weather and job schedules.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
- Personal smartphone with data plan for daily attendance marking, communication, and reporting.

**Work Conditions**:

- Various locations including both residential and commercial landscape construction sites.
- Working near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis.
- Working outdoors in various conditions including cold, heat and humidity, rain, dust, and noise.
- Working flexible hours including occasional weekend work, stat holidays, and out-of-town work where required.

**Salary**: $15.00-$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
