**Summary**

We are seeking a Parts Technician to join our dynamic team at Bizi Transport. In this role, you will be responsible for managing parts inventory and ensuring that all necessary components are available for our transportation operations. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our commitment to safety and efficiency.

**Responsibilities**
- Order and secure parts for trucks, trailers, and related equipment
- Negotiate prices and source cost-effective solutions from suppliers
- Manage and maintain inventory of parts and equipment necessary for transportation operations.
- Coordinate with suppliers to order parts as needed, ensuring timely delivery.
- Assist in the organization and storage of parts to facilitate easy access.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and availability.
- Collaborate with team members to identify parts requirements for ongoing projects.
- Provide support in troubleshooting issues related to parts or equipment.
- Travel to other company locations a few times per month as needed
- Respond to urgent part requests—ability to be on call is essential

**Requirements**:

- Journeyman Parts Technician certification or enrollment in an apprenticeship program preferred
- Equivalent experience in a transportation or heavy-duty parts role will also be considered
- Strong negotiation and vendor communication skills
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable with occasional travel to remote sites
- Able and willing to work on call when required
- Valid driver’s license required

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Blackfalds, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
