Bayshore Home Care Solution in Sarnia is looking for Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our amazing team.

**Availabilities Needed**:
One day off during the week

Every other weekend off

**Primary Service Area**:
You will be scheduled for the City of Sarnia and could be asked to travel to Point Edward and Bright's Grove

Wage determined based on years of experience.

What you’ll be doing:
As a Personal Support Worker (PSW), you will make a difference everyday by providing the highest quality of home care to our clients. This includes but not limited to:
Providing cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support to clients and their families in home or cluster-care settings

Using a company-provided work device, document information required for each client visit

Assisting with use of walkers and canes, transfers from bed, chair, wheelchair, toilet, etc.

Rising and retiring: dressing, brushing hair, teeth, shaving, etc.

Personal care: assisting with bathing, showering, toileting, brief changes, etc.

Socializing and companionship

Complete basic housekeeping tasks

Maintain client confidentiality

**Qualifications**

**What You’ll Need**

Must have a valid Ontario driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

PSW certificate or equivalent with local HCCSS or International nursing license

Ability to demonstrate compassion, tact, and diplomacy when interacting with clients and their families

Experience in providing personal care to clients

Bayshore is committed to a high quality and safe environment for both our staff and clients/patients. At Bayshore all new hires must have received the full series of a COVID-19 vaccine or combination of COVID-19 vaccines approved by Health Canada (e.g., two doses of a two dose vaccine series or one dose of a single
