Jardeg is recruiting an Equipment Operator to join the Quinn Construction Maintenance at the NOVA Chemicals site near Red Deer, Alberta.

The NOVA Chemicals Joffre manufacturing facility lies just east of Red Deer, Alberta and is one the largest ethylene and polyethylene production complexes in the world. **Responsibilities**
- Perform work and operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, company and site policies and procedures.
- Move material operating Zoom Boom and Skid Steer.
- Perform pre-operational routine inspections of equipment.
- Identify safety risks and hazards on site.
- Communicate and review hand signals with spotter.
- Receive written and oral instructions from supervisor regarding materials to move or excavate.
- Demonstrate safe operation of all equipment.
- Read and understand the results and purpose of all gauges and equipment.
- Properly maintain and service or has equipment serviced daily.
- Performs minor maintenance or clearing of tools and equipment.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
- CSTS 2020
- Zoom Boom Telehandler Certificate
- Recent Heavy Equiment experience with 2 or more of the following, grader, front end loader, skidsteer, tractor, dump truck
- Energy Safety Canada Certified Confined Space Entry (considered an asset)
- Energy Safety Canada Certified Fall Arrest and/or Fall Protection (considered an asset)
- Valid Driver’s License
- 5-Years Driver’s Abstract
