We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Civil/Structural Engineer or EIT to join our Bridge Design Team, working out of our Collingwood Office.

As a member of the Bridge Design Team you will be a part of a group of professionals involved in the planning and design of bridge and culvert infrastructure projects for municipal clients in the Georgian Bay Area.

**Role Specifics**

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

- Providing detailed design and AutoCAD / Civil 3D support for bridge and road reconstruction projects;
- Supporting senior engineers and project managers in the production of preliminary and detailed design drawings and preparation of related reports, coordination of approvals, development of construction cost estimates, and liaising with clients, sub-consultants and contractors;
- Working under the guidance of project managers and management staff across the company to develop design skills and ensure design quality standards are met;
- Collaborating with and contributing to multi-office design teams to ensure project delivery successfully meets the needs of clients;
- Field inspections, data collection and survey support;
- Work independently and as part of a team;
- Actively engage in professional development and industry events; and
- Other duties as assigned.

**Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications**
- Degree or Diploma in Structural Engineering.
- Registered as an EIT or Professional Engineer in Ontario.
- Proficient in the use of desktop computational tools such as MS Office 365 including Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam and/or Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including ability to express thoughts clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
- Well developed organizational, analytical problem solving, project management, presentation, business/technical writing, interpersonal, conflict resolution and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently under minimum supervision.
