This position is for our **Tri-Town**Home, located in **Haileybury, Ontario.**

Available opportunities include: Full-Time; Day

**What you’ll be doing**
- Performs preventive maintenance and maintenance tasks including PM checks, mechanical operations, building inspections, minor on demand repairs, heavy duty cleaning, moving of furniture, grounds maintenance/work, and janitorial tasks etc. in accordance with the written policies and procedures of Extendicare, the facility, trade/CSA legislation and the Maintenance Department as well as prescribed sanitation and infection control procedures.
- Reports unsafe and hazardous working conditions and any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor

**What you bring**
- Maintenance experience, preferably in an institutional setting.
- Possess technical competencies related to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Experience with an older adult population an asset
- Strong customer and resident service skills.
- Experience in a high paced customer service setting an asset
- Flexible and willingness to learn new tasks
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to quickly changing priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English (other languages an asset)
