**Position Description**:
**SUMMARY**
Reporting to the Manager for Centre for Minimal Access Surgery (CMAS), the primary role of this position is to coordinate the educational programs offered by CMAS as well as provide administrative support for the Manager.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Completion of a post-secondary program in the area of adult education, business or relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 3 years related experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with meeting planning/conference organizing and customer service.
- Demonstrated experience in the planning and coordination of educational programs.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Webpage Content Management.
- Experience in ADOBE creative Suite.
- Clerical testing may be required as part of the selection process.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Marketing experience would be an asset
- Must possess excellent organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize and work effectively with a variety of professional staff.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain excellent interpersonal relationships while handling multiple tasks, frequent interruptions and stressful situations.
- Superior work performance and attendance record are essential.

***HOURS OF WORK**
