**Position Summary**:
This role requires onsite work 5 days per week at our Stitsville, Ontario location.

**What You'll do as an Associate Systems Integration Specialist**:

- Perform testing of hardware and software to minimize defects prior to system integration.
- Maintain awareness of emerging technologies. Assess and communicate opportunities.
- Contribute to a team effort by performing in accordance with all STERIS policies, GMP, Lean principles and other directives; support the directives and decisions of higher-level management.
- Assist in the development and evaluation of possible solutions to address Customer needs and requirements.
- Create and document solutions for deployment in the production environment.
- Participate in testing and validating of computer systems, and the on-site installation with supervision.
- Assist other Systems Integration Specialists with implementing Customer needs and requirements.
- Support and troubleshoot existing non-complex Customer solutions.
- Maintain Customer software and hardware updates and upgrades.
- All other duties as assigned.

**The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed**:
**Required**:

- Technical Training / College Diploma in related field (Computer Systems Technology, Computer Systems Technician, Network Technology).
- Minimum 4 years related experience accepted in lieu of education.
- Working knowledge of Computer Systems and Technologies.

**Preferred**:

- Familiarity with the following is an asset:

- Network Infrastructure
- Server and Virtualization
- Software and Applications
- Networking Protocols and Services
- Communication and Surveillance

**Other**:

- Experience with documentation writing and mathematical aptitude.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience analyzing project data.
- Effective time management and prioitization skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Experience with writing reports and tracking issues and solutions.
