Ledcor is now seeking a year-round labourer to support our Highway Maintenance team in Morinville. If you have a Class 5 license and want to work for a company that values safety, community, and career growth, we want to hear from you
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform various highway maintenance tasks including crack sealing, asphalt patching, flagging, message painting, etc.
- Assist with traffic control procedures
- Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Perform other road maintenance duties as required
- Work outside in all weather conditions
**Qualifications**:
- Successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Be able to perform physically demanding tasks
- Must possess a valid Class 5 driver's license
- Provide a 3-year driver’s abstract
- Previous experience as a Traffic Controller or Flagging experience is a strong asset
Work Conditions
- Applicants that are local may be given preference due to the location of the work
- As LHL is obligated to respond to various weather patterns, some shift work, on-call, and night shift will be required
- Benefits provided by CLAC
- Will be provided a pay rate of $21/hr -$24/hr based on experience
