**MEDICAL LAB TECHNICIAN & RECEPTIONIST**

**Duties include but are not limited to**:
**-Greeting and registering patients, booking appointments, answering phone calls**

**-Working closely with physicians to facilitate patient care**

**-Scanning and faxing patient results, processing referrals and requisitions**

**-Sorting and handling office mail, faxes, lab reports**

**Maintaining patient records by obtaining, recording, and updating personal demographics and information.**

**-Collect and prepare patient samples for testing; **log and send patient samples to Public Health, LifeLabs, Dynacare etc**

**-Set up, clean and maintain medical laboratory equipment**

**REQUIRED SKILLS**:
**-Exceptional Customer Service, communication and superior organizational skills**

**-Experience in EMR/ Accuro are a strong asset**

**-Completion of medical secretary program is an asset**

**-Phlebotomy/ laboratory technician certificate is essential.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
