Responsabilités
Assistance technique sur le terrain
- Se déplacer sur des sites de projet à travers le monde en tant que représentant du site Vortex pour la mise en service du projet, les réparations et la supervision de l'installation.
- Effectuer des inspections complètes de l'installation avant sa mise en service ;
- Mise en service et mise en service du système d'eau.
- Fournir une formation complète sur le démarrage initial et l'arrêt des installations aux opérateurs des installations ;
- Obtenir l'approbation des clients sur les projets terminés ;
- Fournir des commentaires et des solutions possibles à l'équipe de développement de produits sur les problèmes fréquemment observés ;
- Communiquer avec l'équipe de support technique à distance pour les pièces de rechange/supplémentaires requises.
- Dépannage et réparations sur place du système d'eau, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, la programmation des contrôleurs, les réparations de tuyauterie et les remplacements de pompes.
- Dépannage et réparations sur place des structures et des produits de jeux d'eau.
- Fournir des directives aux installateurs et aux clients concernant l'entretien des produits Vortex - Répondre et fournir une solution aux demandes des clients (distributeurs ou sous-traitants) par téléphone ou par courriel pour fournir une solution ;
- Enregistrer l'appel dans le système ERP ;
- Déterminer si une visite du site est requise ;

Field Service Technician The Field Service Technician works with our distributors and their contractors as well as with the end-users to support overall installation, facility start-up & shutdown training as well as to do general troubleshooting both on and off site.
Responsibilities
Technical support in the field
- Travel to project sites throughout the world as Vortex site representative for project commissioning, repairs and installation supervision.
- Run full inspections of the installation before being put in operation;
Commission and put into operation water system.
- Provide comprehensive training on initial start-up and shut down of installations to facility operators;
- Obtain client sign-off on completed projects;
- Provide feedback and possible solutions to the product development team on frequently observed issues;
- Communicate with remote technical support team for spare/additional parts required.
Trouble shoot and on site repairs of water system, including but not limited to programming of controllers, piping repairs and pump replacements. Trouble shoot and on site repairs of water play structures and products. Provide direction to installers and clients regarding maintenance of Vortex produts - Log call in the ERP system;
- Determine if a site visit is required;
- Keep track of the requests of the group in the department and discuss possible solutions.
Other
Participate in providing certified installer training including development of material, scheduling and facilitation of sessions; Participate in the continuous improvement of internal processes. Participate in the development of user guides. Work in the plant assisting assembly, and other departments during slow season.
Competencies
Good general construction knowledge with a focus on plumbing, concrete and electrical; Ability to read technical drawings (mechanical, electrical, civil, and installation) Ability to interact with contractors and clients; Ability to train others on technical aspects; Strong communication skills; Project management skills; Ability to manage time and priorities; Strong problem solving abilities; Ability to work in the context of varying business cultures; Well-developed interpersonal skills; Positive attitude and team oriented; Fluent English and French spoken and written.
