**Position Overview**:
The Provincial Safety Technician is responsible for performing thorough pre-delivery inspections on vehicles to ensure they meet the manufacturer’s specifications and are ready for customer delivery. This role involves inspecting, diagnosing, and addressing any issues that arise to ensure that vehicles are in optimal condition before they are delivered to customers.
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of new vehicles to ensure they meet all manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
- Verify that all vehicle components and systems are functioning correctly, including electrical, mechanical, and safety systems.
- Check fluid levels, tire pressures, and perform necessary adjustments.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve any issues found during the inspection process.
- Perform minor repairs and adjustments as needed to ensure the vehicle is in perfect working order.
- Accurately complete and maintain inspection reports and documentation.
- Report any significant issues or discrepancies to the service manager or appropriate personnel.
- Ensure that all vehicles are clean, presentable, and ready for delivery to customers.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines while performing inspections and repairs.
- Follow dealership and manufacturer protocols to maintain high standards of quality and service.
- Work closely with other technicians, service advisors, and dealership staff to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with service managers regarding any issues or required follow-up actions.
**Requirements**:
- Must obtain Provincial Safety License
- Previous experience as an automotive technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history
