Parts and Service Associate

The Customer Service - Parts and Service Associate is responsible for supporting clients worldwide on their requests for parts to service their commissioned water slides. This includes investigating the commissioned baseline of the water slides that were installed by ProSlide to ensure the correct parts are quoted and delivered. This role requires interaction with several internal groups, such as Supply Chain Management, Product Development and Finance.
**YOUR CHALLENGE**:
- Responsible for the handling of all incoming requests via the electronic ticket system, and acknowledgment of customer requests.
- Development of customer quotes to their parts request, to a fixed catalogue of commodity and proprietary parts costing matrix.
- Ensuring that all commercial aspects are handled with clients such as down payments and purchase orders prior to shipping.
- Follow up with clients, for quotes provided and that orders have been received for invoicing by finance.
- Provide general information concerning warranties and released installation instructions.
- Development of Standard of Operating procedures and Work Instructions on overall functionality of department
- Creation of Customer Service quotes for field services activities being conducted by internal and external resources.
- Document and maintain the customer record on interactions, account portfolio and commercial aspects.
- Support the Handling, Control of Nonconforming Material, through the submission of a Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
- Timely responses to customer inquiries, including periodic updates.
**WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE**:
- High School or College Diploma with parts training combined with 2-3 years of work-related experience in such environment as automotive or electronics contract manufacturing.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience working in a high paced parts department.
- Technical aptitude and willing to learn about the products that make of the water park industry
- Proficient in working within an ERP system for order management, quoting and invoicing.
- Working directly with end customers, via electronic communications and through verbal conversations
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers, through open and interactive communications.
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work independently, often under pressure and against deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and sound business judgment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods and tools
