Mine Technician

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in underground and surface mine planning activities, including stope designs and drill/blast layouts
- Conduct routine surveys and ensure accurate data collection and integration
- Support daily production tracking, ore reconciliation, and operational reporting
- Operate and maintain a range of mining and support equipment
- Assist with logistics and material handling, including operating forklifts or utility vehicles
- Perform inspections of mobile equipment and underground infrastructure as directed
- Ensure compliance with site safety protocols and environmental standards
- Support engineers and geologists with technical tasks related to short
- and long-term planning
- Document all tasks, inspections, and maintenance activities accurately

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Technical diploma or related field experience in mining, geology, or engineering
- Previous experience in a mining or industrial setting preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot field issues
- Familiarity with mine survey tools and software is an asset
- Ability to safely operate equipment such as forklifts, UTVs, and basic hand tools
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working in remote, camp-based environments on a rotational schedule

Pay: $40.00-$53.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
