We are currently looking for an upbeat and energetic individual who has experience tutoring Spanish Literature to high school students of different ages and cultures in a dynamic working environment after school.

**Subject**:

- High School Spanish literature and IB Diploma Programme Self-taught Spanish Literature
- ELA

**Duties**:

- Provide one-on one in person sessions with high school students
- Assess and adapt sessions to the students' strengths, weakness and learning style to develop learning strategies
- Monitor progress and adjust sessions as necessary
- Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes learning
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, attendance and notes
- Communicate regularly with Coordinator on the progress of the students

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- 1-2 years experience teaching, tutoring or working with students
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Must pass and maintain a clear criminal record check for the purposes of working with vulnerable children
- A Bachelor of Education and BC teaching Certificate an asset
- Experience and familiarity with the BC Curriculum
- Able to communicate with students progress in a timely manner
- Professional, punctual and responsible
- A commitment to fostering

**Compensation**
$45.00-$60.00/hr dependant on experience, education and number of students Hours and days are dependent on needs of students
