ProVantage Automation is a Rockwell Recognized Systems Integrator manufacturing Specialized Machinery and integrating full Packaging Systems with expertise in advanced motion control. Our clients are primarily based across North America with a focus in Paper Converting and Food & Beverage industries.

Position: Controller

Full time M-F, on site, 35 hours per week

Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of accounting and financial functions
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger

assist in establishing and securing proper internal controls
- Prepare subledger and bank account reconciliations
- Produce client invoices
- Process and maintain AR and cash receipt transactions
- Lead the communication with customers related to financial matters
- Transactions in a Multi currency environment
- Preparation of monthly HST returns
- Preparation of Biweekly Payroll
- Remittance of payroll deductions, year end reporting
- Administration of employee benefit programs
- Cash flow analysis
- Formulation of budgets and variance analysis
- Prepare year-end reporting requirements
- Assist in the analysis and testing of new software as required
- Supervision and guidance for Office Manager
- Additional duties as required

Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Accounting designation (CPA) or equivalent
- 5 years+ of full cycle accounting
- Self starter requiring little supervision
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills
- Proven ability to prioritize responsibilities and processes
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is a must
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible and able to work effectively as a team player
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Advanced skills in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Comprehensive knowledge of QBO
- Working knowledge of ERP system
- Located within 30 minutes of Brantford preferred
