**Phoenix Glass is a rapidly growing company specializing in the manufacture and installation of made-to-measure commercial products for large-scale projects, such as residential high-rise developments, commercial buildings and retail properties. **This work will be performed at 8166 92nd St. Delta - BC, V4G 0A4 and whenever required by clients, within the greater Vancouver’s area.**

**This position includes, but is not limited to**:

- **Installation of glass into storefront and curtainwall and installation of pre-glazed windows and skylights;**
- **Repair glass doors and other glass structures;**
- **Installation on surfaces such as building fronts, exterior and/or interior walls, and ceilings;**
- **Cutting and fastening together pieces of aluminum extrusions or metal before installation as required;**
- **Position and secure panes in frame**
- **Measure, mark and cut glass**
- **Install door, window and other hardware**
- **Determine type of glass, frames and material required**
- **Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors or glass products**
- **Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment**
- **Waterproofing details;**
- **Caulking;**
- **Using hand tools such as glass cutters, suction cups and glazing knives;**
- **Using power tools such as a hilti drill and screw guns;**
- **Lifting with or without aid such as suction cups;**
- **Climbing scaffold;**
- **Operating aerial lifts such as boomlifts and scissor lifts;**
- **Working under general supervision.**
- **Train and supervise junior workers;**
- **Assist junior workers with specific trades of industry;**
- **Monitor and track job performance of junior workers.**

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

- Full time, at least 40 hours per week

SALARY:

- $28,00 to $32,00 (hourly); based on qualifications and experience

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

- Post-Secondary Education
- English Speaker
- 1+year glazing experience
- Spider Crane Operator Training Certificate

**Salary**: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
