Under the responsibility and supervision of the Kitchen Manager, the cook is a key member of the Kitchen Team. The cook must be able to respond positively and proactively to the restaurant’s diverse needs in terms of performance, versatility, initiative, organization and autonomy. He/she must always adopt a professional attitude and demonstrate tolerance to stress. The need to complete tasks quickly is an asset.

**ROLE**

The cook produces, on various levels, the dishes served in the establishment in accordance with the recipes and standards determined by the establishment.

**MAIN TASKS**
- Plan work for future needs and services;
- Keep the inventory of kitchen-specific food, supplies and equipment up to date;
- Organize your workstation with all the necessary ingredients and equipment;
- Ensure the quality and freshness of the products used;
- Implement the next service;
- Organize your service area;
- Perform service based on orders received;
- Ensure compliance with standards in terms of quality, recipes, presentation;
- Monitor inventory and keep immediate manager of any need or shortage;
- Receive and check orders;
- Open and close the kitchen;
- Perform all other related tasks and/or necessary for the proper conduct of operations.

**Poste**: AIDE CUISINIER/CUISINIÈRE

Sous la responsabilité et la supervision du gestionnaire de cuisine, Le ou la cuisinier(e) est un membre clé́ de l’équipe de cuisine. Le ou la cuisinier(e) doit être capable de répondre de façon positive et proactive aux divers besoins du restaurant, en matière de rendement et en faisant preuve de polyvalence, d’initiative, d’organisation et d’autonomie. Il/elle doit en tout temps adopter une attitude professionnelle et démontrer de la tolérance au stress. La nécessité d’exécuter rapidement ses tâches est un atout.

**RÔLE**

Le ou la cuisinier(e) produit, à différents niveaux, les mets servis dans l’établissement en respectant les recettes et les standards déterminés par l’établissement.

**TÂCHES PRINCIPALES**
- Planifier le travail à effectuer en fonction des besoins et des services à venir;
- Tenir l’inventaire de la nourriture, des fournitures et du matériel propre à la cuisine à jour;
- Organiser son poste de travail avec tous les ingrédients et les équipements nécessaires;
- Veiller à la qualité et à la fraîcheur des produits utilisés;
- Effectuer la mise en place du prochain service;
- Organiser son aire de service;
- Effectuer le service en fonction des commandes reçues;
- Assurer le respect des standards au niveau de la qualité, des recettes, de la présentation;
- Appliquer les règles de sécurité dans la cuisine;
- Surveiller les stocks et tenir son supérieur immédiat de tout besoin ou manque;
- Réceptionner et vérifier les commandes;
- Procéder à l’ouverture et la fermeture de la cuisine;
- Effectuer toutes autres tâches connexes et/ou nécessaires au bon déroulement des opérations.
