Chase Office Interiors has an exciting new opportunity in the Lower Mainland. We are looking for a positive and energetic Junior Estimator/Project Coordinator. The role is to prepare cost estimates by analyzing proposals and requirements. Junior Estimator/Project Coordinator identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications and related documents, and supports the project team through process compliance.

**Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Manager, Project Management Group, responsibilities for this position include the following:

- Support project cost planning such as project budgeting, assemble response to tender packages, tender review, and cost analyses.
- Develop project cost estimates through participation in project site visits, specification requests, pricing, and presentation for management review.
- Analyze plans, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare project proposals, tender documents, and feasibility recommendations.
- Support procurement activities: develop scopes of work for PM review.
- Maintain a unit pricing database for material and labour costing.
- Support Project Manager’s with assigned project deliverables
- Manage and maintain project documents in all Chase systems, ensuring the team has the latest information at all times.
- Work with the team to establish to-dos and be accountable for assigning and following up with the team to ensure completion
- Attend all assigned meetings, prepare meeting minutes and distribute
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with all stakeholders General Contractors, architects and budget estimators.
- Prepare and attend site walkthroughs and project site meetings, review and confirm site measurements and conditions.

**Specific Skills & Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in the construction field in similar or related position
- Detailed knowledge of building regulations, and construction methods, materials and assemblies
- Experience with project estimating practices, software and spreadsheet design
- Site experience on commercial construction sites
- Organized, methodical approach to work with an eye-for-detail and an enthusiasm for quality
- Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to distil information clearly
- A broad range of computer skills including MS Office, Buildertrend and/or BIM Software (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp), Google Workspace

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
