Foamco Industries, a leading foam fabricator in Canada, is offering an exceptional opportunity for a Management Trainee at our facilities in the Toronto and Montreal regions. This role is designed to support all aspects of the plant environment, providing an immersive learning experience in management duties within the plant, and paving the way for future promotion opportunities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the operations team in the daily operations of the plant to learn and acquire the competencies necessary for future leadership roles.
- Receive cross-functional training in various departments including operations, engineering, and supply chain and contribute in all areas as assigned by the team
- Learn and understand Foamco's line and staff functions, operations, management perspectives, and the policies and practices that influence every stage of business.
- Set performance goals and objectives in conjunction with upper management and monitor progress with key trainers and management.
- Lead departmental improvement projects and support existing operations leadership wherever required.
- Supervise departments to lead concerted improvement efforts as required.

**Skills and Requirements**:

- Specialization in Engineering, Business Management, or Organizational Leadership is highly regarded.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing, with a preference for those with managerial or supervisory experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and resolve issues independently
- Demonstrated history of successful achievements in work experience and/or projects.
- Ability to thrive in an autonomous setting and under just-in-time and lean manufacturing principles.
- Availability and willingness to travel as needed.
- Experience of any kind with AI is highly regarded.
