**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Quality Management**: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- **Product Quality**: Oversee the inspection, testing, and quality control of incoming raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to maintain high product quality and consistency.
- **Supplier Management**: Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to ensure their adherence to quality standards. Address and resolve any quality issues with suppliers effectively.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure compliance with relevant food safety and quality regulations, including FDA, USDA, and GMP. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Identify areas for improvement in quality processes and implement corrective and preventive actions. Drive initiatives for process enhancements and operational efficiency.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- **Customer Relations**: Act as the primary contact for quality-related customer inquiries and concerns. Manage and resolve customer complaints and quality issues in a timely manner.
- **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate quality assurance documentation, including SOPs, quality manuals, and regulatory compliance records. Prepare and present quality reports to senior management.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., HACCP, SQF) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in quality assurance management within the food industry, preferably in spice or ingredient handling.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality standards. Experience with FDA, USDA, GMP, and HACCP requirements.
- Proven track record in managing quality assurance processes, conducting audits, and implementing quality improvement initiatives.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Proficiency in quality management software and MS Office Suite.
