Associate Shipper

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join our team. The Shipper/Receiver will be responsible for efficiently and accurately handling the shipping and receiving of products in our warehouse distribution center. This is a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive their orders on time and in excellent condition.
**Responsibilities**:
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently using an order picker
- Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation
- Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders
- Inspect and report any damaged or missing items
- Utilize a forklift or reach truck to load and unload shipments as needed
- Maintain inventory accuracy by performing regular cycle counts
- Operate AS400 system to track inventory and update records
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with basic math skills for inventory tracking purposes
- Ability to operate a forklift or reach truck safely and efficiently
- Proficiency in using computer systems, including AS400 or similar inventory management software
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms is a plus
**Skills**:
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and communicate any issues or concerns
