We are currently seeking a Technical Writer to join our team in Ottawa, Ontario (CA-ON), Canada (CA).

**How You’ll Help Us**:
As a Technical Writer, you will use your wide array of knowledge to provide support to our clients. If you are passionate about communication, technology and are solution driven, you will be a great fit for our team. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with a talented project team and our clients to design, build and evolve their business.

**How We Will Help You**:
**Once You Are Here, You Will**:

- Document help text, user manuals, technical documentation, web page content, etc.
- Review documentation standards, existing project documentation and determine documentation requirements.
- Gather information concerning features and functions provided by developers.
- Assess the audience for the documents/manuals which are required and prepare a statement of purpose and scope for each.
- Develop a table of content for each document/manual and write or edit required content.
- Document help text, user manuals, technical documentation, web page content, etc.
- Design the layout of the documents/manuals and prepare or coordinate preparation of any required illustrations and diagrams.
- Use word-processing, desk-top publishing, and graphics software to produce final camera-ready copy.

**Required Qualifications**
- Government of Canada Reliability/Secret Security Clearance in process or completed
- 10 + years of experience, or 5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer with a recognized professional certification.
- 2+ years experience writing materials to support an ITSM Tool implementation or upgrade project.
- 2+ years experience writing communication plans and strategies.
- 1+ years experience writing release notes for various audiences.
