**About Us**

Doro Inc. is an innovative company specializing in retail and emergency evacuation solutions. We are currently seeking a hands-on, mechanically inclined **Part-Time Mechanical Technician** to support the continued development and production of our **EVACU B evacuation system**.

This role offers a chance to make a real impact as part of a mission-driven team focused on safety, innovation, and practical design. We’re a small company with a close-knit, family-like environment where collaboration and support are central to our culture.

We would especially welcome someone who may be retired but still wants to stay active and contribute a few days a week. It’s a great opportunity to put your experience to use in a flexible, low-stress setting.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in the design, planning, and execution of mechanical components for the EVACU B system in line with our Quality Management System
- _**Perform hands-on assembly and production tasks**_
- Use practical knowledge to enhance manufacturing and assembly processes
- Operate manual and powered tools, including lathe, milling machine, and saw
- Support prototyping efforts
- _**Work independently**_ with mínimal supervision in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Identify opportunities for improvement in product performance and production efficiency

**Qualifications**
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on assembly experience
- Experience in a production or manufacturing setting
- Familiarity with 3D printing tools and processes
- Understanding of mechanical design and prototyping techniques
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow design specs
- Proficiency with hand tools and standard machine shop equipment
- Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with good time management abilities
- This is a one-person assembly team

**Work Hours**

This is a part-time position with _**flexible hours**_, to be discussed during the interview process.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour
