Looking for part time work over the summer months?

Anchor Tours is looking for a few individuals to serve as tour guides for the upcoming 2025 tourism season, on an as needed basis. If you're flexible in availability and looking for a way to earn some extra money, this might be for you.

Based out of Halifax, we have a number of positions available for driver/guides and walking tour guides. If you're able to do both, more opportunities will come your way.

Walking tour guides will need to be physically able to walk up to 2 hrs. at a time over terrain that can be variable in difficulty.

Prior guiding experience is preferential but not a requirement. Retired educators, those who have experience in the performing arts and entertainment industries, or people who have worked with the general public often excel as guides.

Remuneration will be a combination of an hourly rate plus gratuities. Details will be discussed with those who have been selected for interviews.
