**About Us**

The School Sisters of Notre Dame is a private combined retirement/long-term care setting for members of the SSND community. We are looking for an enthusiastic, dependable RPN to join our dedicated healthcare team As a member of our team, you will be expected to provide holistic, competent, client-centred care to our residents by utilizing your nursing knowledge, practicing excellent communication skills, and developing interpersonal relationships.

**Job Details**

We are looking for full-time, part-time, and casual RPNs to work 8 hour shifts on days, evenings, and nights. Must be available to work Monday to Friday, weekends, and holidays. Full-time and part-time RPNs are eligible for benefits at the end of the 3 month probation period.

We currently have an opening for full-time nights. We are also looking for a temporary full-time days/evenings coverage that could lead to a permanent part time position.

**Salary**: $24.35-28.92/ hour

**Qualifications**
- Practical Nursing Diploma
- Successful Completion of CPNRE (Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination)
- Good standing with the CNO (College of Nurses of Ontario) and licensed to practice in Ontario
- Valid CPR certificate (Lvl HCP)

**Requirements**:

- Able to speak fluent English
- Able to complete a criminal record check (Vulnerable Sector)
- Provide proof of immunizations and negative TB test
- Own transportation (no public transportation available at this location)
- GPA training and other geriatric-related certifications an asset

**Expectations**
- Able to stand and walk for long periods of time; able to assist with transfers and repositioning
- Administer medication as well as observe and document therapeutic effects
- Complete assessments as needed according to care planning procedures
- Practice within defined scope of practice as per the CNO
- Able to pay close attention to detail
- Skilled in time management and organization
- Reliable, flexible, and dependable
- Must be a team player and an effective team leader
- Experience in geriatrics not necessary but will be considered an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.09-$29.78 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
