$19.00 - $28.00 / hour, Non-Exempt

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Our Quality Control Inspector collaborates closely with the wonderful teams in Shipping, Packing, and Greenhouse to make sure that everything we pack and ship meets or exceeds our high Sensei Ag quality standards.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Inspect the quality and quantity of products from the greenhouse and warehouse.
- Evaluate product specifications against customer requirements and record details like size, weight, color, and defects.
- Place and document products on hold as needed.
- Maintain records in Excel and ensure compliance with legal and quality standards.
- Prepare reports and review progress with the quality team.
- Inspect and report on the quality status of all commodities.
- Perform laboratory duties such as sampling and microbial testing.
- Complete other assigned tasks.

**SKILLS and EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NEED**
- Secondary School Education or equivalent required, post-secondary education, preferred.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Health and Safety, and Food Safety.
- Basic understanding of Fresh Fruit & Vegetable regulations, plus Consumer Packaging & Labeling requirements and standards.
- Excel and computer skills are essential.
- Must be able to distinguish colours.
- Comfortable working in greenhouse and packing and refrigerated environment (warm/cold environments).
- The employee is required to stand, walk, bend, use hands to handle or feel product or packaging; and reach with hands and arms.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 kg.
- Must be willing to work shifts/flexible hours.

- Experience in Quality Control.
- Experience in the greenhouse or manufacturing quality role in the vegetable processing/packaging industry.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills.
